I am an artist, coach and writer living in Newberg, Oregon with my husband of twenty years and our three marvelous teenagers. I work out of my home studio, which is in our barn and is my favorite place to work! For as long as I can remember, I have enjoyed finding and excavating beauty – whether it be through painting, writing a story, or listening to someone else’s story face to face.

For the past 18 years I have consulted with individuals, communities, schools and organizations to foster generative conversations, cultivate ideas and grow relationships. I came to coaching/mentoring because of a desire to create space for personal, relational and societal growth. Having endured significant trauma and turmoil in my own life, I wanted to learn new ways and access new tools for living well.  My passion is to come alongside people in their life story. I hold certifications in the following: Adult Development Theory (Coaches Rising), Embodied Transformation (Coaches Rising), Transformational presence (Coaches Rising), and Embodied Leadership I & II (Strozzi Institute) I am also a certified consultant for the Global Leadership Profile through Global Leadership Associates, UK

I am the founder of Re:new Project, a nonprofit organization located in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, committed to employing refugee women from around the world. You can find out more here. Having spent many years living and working overseas, namely Nairobi, Kenya, I gained a great appreciation for the healing and transformative power of art, design and communal collaboration.

I am a self-taught artist. I mainly work with acrylics and oils to create large florals, abstracts and faces. I am currently a candidate for an MFA in Writing at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) and am a certified copyeditor. I am the co-author of the book, Now I See: An Invitation to Life and Beauty.

When I am not working in my studio, you can find me in our garden, at the Oregon Coast, or in a bookstore. Thanks for stopping by! Take a look around and drop me a line. I would love to hear from you.
